PROKON provided design and multi-disciplinary engineering services within the scope of the project. Building Information Model (BIM) system is used during the design management period.Power requirement is approximately 20 MW.Aeroacoustic Testing Performance (for this purpose, surrounding of the test room and fan and in-tunnel corner air guides are equipped with sound insulation).Maximum Wind Speed 130 m s (Approximately 0.38 Mach). The main features of the project are stated below The facility’s total closed area is 26.500 m2. TUSAŞ TST Wind Tunnel is Turkey’s largest facility and it is the World’s 3rd largest facility considering Wind Tunnels throughout the country and the World.
PROKON WIND SERIES
A rapid ramp-up from specification freeze to first delivery and on to series production was achieved with The Switch Model Factory approach. Multi – Disciplinary Engineering Services Over 6,000 liquid-cooled FPCs supplied for Goldwind’s 1.5 MW wind turbines. The company develops, produces and markets wind turbines for almost any location, with rated outputs of 2 to 6.15 MW and rotor diameters of 82 to 152 meters.Design and Consultancy Services of TUSAŞ (TST) Wind Tunnel Senvion is a global manufacturer of onshore and offshore wind turbines.

Numerous additional projects are currently at different stages of planning and completion. PROKON currently operates 57 wind farms with a total output of 557 MW in Germany and Poland. Today, developing, planning and constructing wind farms on land and then managing their operation from a technical and commercial perspective are among PROKON’s core areas of expertise, which also include supplying private domestic customers with electricity throughout Germany. PROKON was founded in 1995 as a design office for onshore wind energy in Germany. Altogether, 604 Senvion 3.XM turbines with a total capacity of almost 2,000 MW are installed in Germany. The Senvion 3 MW portfolio comprises turbines with nominal capacity of 3.0 to 3.4 MW and rotor diameters from 104 to 140m. Therefore, it is important for us that our wind turbines meet all these different challenges.” The PROKON cooperative is active with its projects in regions with different wind potentials, both in the north and in the interior of Germany. This refers both to the wind turbine technology and to the cooperation in the operation of wind farms.

Heiko Wuttke, CEO of PROKON Regenerative Energien eG, said: “For the implementation of our outstanding project pipeline, with Senvion we have found a partner that suits us very well. This proves we have the right turbine for every site in Germany, and we are looking forward to the successful completion of the projects together with PROKON.” The commissioning of the four wind projects is planned between 20. Jürgen Geissinger, CEO of Senvion, said, “Together with PROKON, we will realize this project that includes four different Senvion turbine types from our 3.XM series, including our recently launched Senvion 3.4M140. The 21 turbines will produce about 173,000 MWh each year. This turbine with a new pitch system and sound-optimized serrations on its blades is particularly suitable for low-wind locations as well as forested and mountainous areas. The Gutter and Downpipe Design module analyses gutters and downpipes that drain the roofs of building structures.

The four projects will be built using one Senvion 3.2M122, five Senvion 3.0M122, eight Senvion 3.4M114 and also include seven Senvion 3.4M140. Wind Pressure Analysis calculates free stream velocity pressures, wind loads on various building geometries, and frictional effects on cladding materials. The PROKON cooperative is active with its projects in regions with different wind potentials, in the north and in the interior of Germany.
